This small wooden butterfly is lovingly handcrafted from the wood of old wine barrels. The natural grain, various brown tones, color gradients, and characteristic dark discolorations tell the story of the wood's original use and make each butterfly a very special unique piece.

One side of the butterfly is varnished. The varnish beautifully enhances the natural color and grain of the wood, bringing out the different brown and wood tones even more intensely.

No two butterflies are exactly alike. Depending on which part of the wine barrel the wood comes from, the color can vary from light brown to brown to dark brown. Dark inclusions, natural color gradients, and differences in the grain are also part of the special character of wine barrel wood and are not defects, but rather make each piece unique.

The butterfly offers two decoration options: It can be placed as a small wooden figure on a shelf, sideboard, table, or windowsill, or used as a wall decoration with the hanging option.

By reusing the wood of old wine barrels, a sustainable and environmentally friendly decorative item is created, combining traditional craftsmanship, upcycling, and natural beauty.
