This large wooden butterfly is lovingly handcrafted from the wood of old wine barrels. The natural grain, various shades of brown, color gradients, and characteristic dark discolorations tell of the wood's original use and make each butterfly a very special unique piece.

One side of the butterfly is varnished. The varnish beautifully enhances the wood's natural color and grain, making the different brown and wood tones stand out even more intensely.

No two butterflies are alike. Depending on which part of the wine barrel the wood comes from, the color can vary from light brown to brown to dark brown. Dark inclusions, natural color gradients, and differences in grain are also part of the special character of wine barrel wood and are not a defect, but rather make each piece unique.

The large butterfly offers two decoration options: It can be placed as a decorative wooden figure on a shelf, sideboard, table, or windowsill, or used as wall decoration with the help of the hanging option.

By reusing the wood of old wine barrels, a sustainable and environmentally friendly decorative item is created that combines traditional craftsmanship, upcycling, and natural beauty.
