Honey from our own beekeeping - Early Summer Blossom & Late Summer Blossom

Our honey comes directly from our own small apiary. Our bee colonies are located on our property and collect their nectar from the surrounding nature. Depending on the season, weather, and availability of blossoms, this results in a honey with its very own taste, scent, color, and character.

There are two varieties to choose from: early bloom and late bloom.

Early bloom
Our early bloom honey is harvested in spring. During this time, the bees collect nectar from the various spring blossoms in the area. The honey is characterized by a pleasantly mild and delicately sweet taste.

Since honey is a pure natural product, its consistency can change over time. Especially early bloom honey can crystallize from creamy to solid depending on its natural composition. This is a natural process and not a defect in quality.

Late bloom
Our late bloom honey results from the nectar supply of the later flowering period. It generally has a stronger and more aromatic taste and thus differs significantly from the rather mild early bloom.

Even color, aroma, and consistency can vary depending on the harvest year and the availability of blossoms, making each honey harvest something special.

Which plants our bees visit is determined by nature, the weather, and the respective available blossoms around their location. Therefore, our honey can differ in color, taste, and consistency from harvest to harvest.

It is precisely these natural differences that make each harvest unique and our honey a special natural product from our own apiary.
